Karen Moore is an award-winning author of over one hundred inspirational and devotional books covering a wide range of topics. Karen has published books with Christians Art Gifts, Simon & Schuster, Faith Words, Thomas Nelson, Hachette, Worthy, and Abingdon Press to name a few. She has written several devotionals for teens and tweens including one for Joyce Meyer called The Battlefield of the Mind for Kids.

Karen is a beloved Christian writing conference and women’s conference speaker. She addresses a variety of inspirational, and motivational topics to groups across the country.

Karen has a Master’s Degree in Education with a Reading Specialization. She has taught both in grade schools and in colleges.

Her goals include writing, speaking, and engaging more people to do daily devotions. To that end, she recently launched The Got Ten Minutes campaign. She wants to help readers build a personal relationship with God.

Karen is married to Bruce Barbour, and together they have six adult children and eleven grandchildren. Her home is in Nashville, Tennessee.
